Goodbye Cheshire Street, Hello Lamb's Conduit Street!
Just like that, our time on Cheshire Street is coming to an end. Our last day open on Cheshire Street will be May 20th. This is the last weekend to visit us in store until we open our new location! To celebrate our time here at Cheshire Street we are offering 40% OFF all accessories in store!
It seems like yesterday we got the keys to a beautiful shop down the way on the unassuming Cheshire Street. The exterior was a black victorian shop front, and the interior was a crisp white. This was three years ago. Three whole years ago!
When we first got the keys at 32 Cheshire Street.
We got the keys to our shop and quickly made it the colourful 40 Colori you all come to know. We quickly painted the interior our iconic teal blue which still brings a smile to our face. The blue we used was Dulux 65BG 17/353.
We installed our recycled cardboard furniture crafted by the talented team at Nardi Mobili. We worked with a spectacular interior design group to bring everything together, Finch Interiors. After a busy week of long days, a few tears, many Indian take out dinners we finally built 40 Colori.
Since the moment we opened our doors here on Cheshire Street we have met people from all over the world. We have met tourists, locals, families, couples, creatives, entrepreneurs, and more. We have hosted charity events and parties here with our team from Italy even flying up a few times. We have had photographers in our shop appreciating the interior and our products. We have met newly engaged couples sharing their own unique love stories with us. We have made friends. We have learned so much from this experience. All of these interactions have helped us build 40 Colori more and really learn what it is people want from their trusted brand. For this, we want to thank every single one of you who has come into 40 Colori during these last years.
We want to make this clear; this is not the end of 40 Colori. We are excited to announce that we will be opening a new shop on Lamb's Conduit Street, WC1N 3LE in early September. This is a huge move for us as we will have a space almost three times the size of our current location and this will allow us to introduce our new venture; menswear clothing! During the Summer we will be renovating our new location, but during this time we will be hosting and taking part in a collection of Pop Ups so be sure to keep an eye out on our social media & newsletters for dates and locations.
We will always cherish the memories of our first shop on Cheshire Street. Thank you for all the support over these past years. We can't wait to see you all again at our new location and introduce you to all the big things to come.
