This Taupe Donegal Tweed Wool Classic Waistcoat is hand crafted by a skilled sarta in our family workshop in Como. The fabric for this waistcoat is sourced from Magee in Donegal, Ireland. This warm and sturdy plain weave fabric has a weight of 410gm and combines a dark brown weft and a lighter taupe beige warp loaded with the characteristic colourful flecks of the Donegal tweed. This waistcoat features a small notched lapel, two welt pockets and double buttoned back adjusters. The weight, texture and feel of the fabric make this waistcoat a great option both as a layering piece in the colder months or as outer layer in the mid-seasons. The neutral taupe colour allows for easy pairing with a multitude of autumnal hues.
